Velocity Tech Solutions ("Velocity," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website velocity-tech.com, the Velocity Client Portal, and the Velocity Social Studio (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Services, including any features that integrate with third-party platforms such as Facebook and other social media networks.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services immediately.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide Directly
- Account & Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and other details you provide when registering for the Client Portal or contacting us.
- Client Project Data: Documents, files, briefs, communications, and other materials shared through the Client Portal related to services we perform on your behalf.
- Social Media Content: Posts, images, captions, scheduling preferences, and related content you create or manage through the Social Studio.
b. Information from Third-Party Platforms
When you connect your social media accounts (including Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms) to the Social Studio, we may receive:
- Page & Profile Data: Page name, page ID, profile picture, and account metadata necessary to manage your connected accounts.
- Content Performance Data: Post engagement metrics such as likes, comments, shares, reach, and impressions for content published or tracked through Social Studio.
- Access Tokens: Authentication tokens provided by the platform to enable posting and analytics on your behalf. These tokens are stored securely and used solely for the purposes you have authorized.
We do not access your personal Facebook profile, private messages, friend lists, or any data unrelated to the pages and accounts you explicitly connect to the Social Studio.
c. Automatically Collected Information
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interaction patterns within the Client Portal and Social Studio.
- Device & Browser Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers collected through standard web technologies.
- Cookies & Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and improve the user experience. See Section 7 for details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To operate the Client Portal and facilitate project communication, file sharing, reporting, and collaboration between Velocity and our clients.
- Social Media Management: To enable you to create, schedule, publish, and track social media content on your connected platforms through the Social Studio.
- Analytics & Reporting: To provide you with performance insights and engagement metrics for your social media content.
- Platform Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve the functionality, reliability, and user experience of our Services.
- Communication: To send you service-related notifications, project updates, and respond to your inquiries.
- Security: To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or unauthorized access.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- With Third-Party Platforms: When you use the Social Studio to publish content, that content is transmitted to the social media platform(s) you have connected (e.g., Facebook, Instagram). These platforms govern the content once published under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, security). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only as directed by Velocity.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Velocity, our clients, or others.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users of any change in ownership or control.
4. Facebook & Social Media Platform Data
This section specifically addresses our use of data obtained through Facebook and other social media platform integrations.
- We only request the permissions necessary to perform the Social Studio functions you have authorized, such as publishing posts to your pages and retrieving engagement analytics.
- We do not use Facebook data for purposes unrelated to providing you with Social Studio functionality.
- We do not sell Facebook data to any third party.
- We do not use Facebook data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes unrelated to your account.
- Facebook data is not shared with third parties except as required to operate the Social Studio (e.g., secure hosting providers) or as required by law.
- You may disconnect your social media accounts from the Social Studio at any time. Upon disconnection, we will cease accessing data from those accounts. You may also request deletion of previously collected data by contacting us.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. Client project data is retained for the duration of the client engagement and a reasonable period thereafter for reference and continuity purposes, unless you request earlier deletion.
Social media performance data and content records are retained for as long as your accounts remain connected to the Social Studio, or as needed for reporting purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain your authenticated session in the Client Portal and Social Studio.
- Remember your preferences and settings.
- Understand how our Services are used so we can improve them.
You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
